Lake Koocanusa is an expansive reservoir located in North America, specifically along the border between Montana, United States, and British Columbia, Canada. Spanning approximately 90 miles, this man-made lake covers a surface area of about 30,000 acres. The creation of this reservoir was a result of the construction of the Libby Dam on the Kootenai River, completed in 1975.
